Doll in Pink Dress (Lafaytte Doll)

In 1824 the Marquis de Lafayette was the guest of Pennsylvanianulls Governor, John Shulze. He gave the doll as a gift to Shulzenulls daughter, Mary Louise. The doll was passed on to a granddaughter of the governor, who was also named Mary Louise. From there it became the posession of Mrs. Albert Hostetter in 1916.
